North East Link - Topgear Cycles is staying!

If you've visited us recently you'll have seen the demolition works going on to prepare for the construction of North East Link. Topgear Cycles is one of the fortunate businesses to remain in our current location - 194 Bulleen Road, Bulleen.
While it'll cause some disruption over the coming months / years Topgear Cycles is one of the fortunate businesses to remain in our current location - 194 Bulleen Road, Bulleen.
We'll remain open throughout construction with our usual business hours of 10 am to 6 pm Monday and Saturdays 10 to 4 pm.
Apart from the new view out our front windows we're looking forward to see what is being constructed and landscaped over the North East Link Tunnels and around the new Manningham Road interchange.
We're told the North East Link Tunnels will be 6.5km long, stretching from Watsonia to Bulleen and will go right past our front doors. It'll make it easier to get to Topgear Cycles from the Eastern Freeway and Manningham roads, with a cyclist friendly 14,700 cars and trucks taken off Bulleen Road each day.
What we're really looking forward to seeing is a 2-hectare Yarra Link green bridge over Bulleen Road and improved access to green spaces with new wetlands at the Yarra River and Koonung Creek. All easy to access from our store.
While all of this construction work is taking place it may be a little messy in the surrounding areas but the best way to access Topgear Cycles continues to be from Noelle Street with plenty of parking at the rear of the store and store access.
