Otway Odessay mtb race

This mountain bike race has got to be one of the toughest races on the MTB calander. 100km long with lots of climbing [over 30% gradient on some climbs! ...according to my Garmin] and every type of terrain thrown in for good measure.The race starts in Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road and finishes at the small inland town called Forrest.
The crew from Topgear Cycles was well represented with Bryce and Garath leading the charge after some great results early this year. Nick , John and Mark were all newcomers to the event but all managed to get across the line in there longest ride to date.

If you want a huge challange then train up for this event next year. It is one of the best races on the callander.
