The Eildon HDATO has been cancelled due to the fires, instead clubs have organised the following event:
Bush Fire Relief rd 1 of the Victorian State Enduro Series
Now at the You Yangs 15th Feb 10.00am – 4.00pm
GMBC , FTF, Bendigo, Dirt Riders and several other Victorian clubs are banding together this Sunday the 15th February to run a 6 hour Enduro at the Stockyards You Yangs Regional Park (instead of previously advertised Eildon HDATO) to raise money for the Fire Relief Fund to help those who lost everything in the recent fires across the State. All the Entry fees charged will be donated to the fund. This race will still earn you points for the State Series, but this is a time where you can give back to all the communities who have helped us run races. So please tell everyone you know and come along and help those in need, along with taking the opportunity to ride one of the best tracks in Vic. Enter online at http://entryzone.bighillevents.com.au/

HI All
Many of you don’t know me, but I’m a member of the Victorian Police Arson Squad and have spent the past three days in the areas effected by the fires. I can’t think of how to describe what I have seen over the past three days, but only to say I never want to see it again. There is total devastation of many communities, people have lost everything and in many cases people have lost their lives. This race is a credit to the Mountain Bike community, its going to take years for the victims and the areas effected by fire to recover. I won’t be there on the weekend due to my role within VICPOL, but on behalf of the victims a big thankyou.
